Cacao Oat Truffles

Need a quick, healthy snack for you or your kids? These balls are the ultimate snack and everyone loves them. No funny ingredients, no dehydration and certainly no baking… allergen-friendly and hard to resist…. of course it’s the texture and the combination of coconut and chocolate….

Hand-made in the Raw Evolution kitchen, and tested successfuly on two kids…. :)

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup organic thick oats
  • 2 tblsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tblsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tsp raw vanilla powder
  • 4 medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup water melted raw cacao butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut, shredded
  • Pinch of himalayan salt
  • 1 tblsp agave nectar

 

INGREDIENTS (Quick & easy version)

  • 1 cup organic thick oats (gluten-free oats)
  • 1/2 cup coconut, shredded, un-sweetened
  • 1 tblsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tsp raw vanilla powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp maple sugar (optional
  • 2 tblsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of himalayan salt

 

TO MAKE

Add all ingredients to food processor. Pulse for a coarse mixture. Use a tea-spoon and make little round truffles using the hands.

 

OPTIONAL

Add in maca, mesquite, lucuma powder to extra nutritional power or add some medicinal mushrooms, goji berries or other fun ingredients.
